As the season begins to change and the cooler nights set in, a soothing way to warm up is to snuggle under a blanket with a nice, hot beverage.  When selecting evening beverages, you want to be careful and opt for something that is not high in caffeine (which is a stimulant and can cause insomnia and anxiety).  As a guideline, the less caffeine you consume in the evening, the better, (especially if you have occasional trouble sleeping in which case, I say get rid of the caffeine all together!).  As a general rule, stick to caffeine intake in the A.M. hours and then stop drinking anything with caffeine by lunchtime.
