The Art of Gifting & Wishing...for the Mother in your Life

Margaret Berend is Bedtime Network's fashionista "in the house!"  She's also Bedtime Bettie's idol when it comes to great fashion sense.  Margaret will be blogging from Bettie's Boudoir for the next few days with a holiday list that can't be beat.  She's got everyone covered, from the Mom in your life to your next potential romantic entanglement.  Tonight, she takes on the "Bag Ladies" of Manhattan.  You know who you are!

Well along everyone know of that how long does cialis 20mg last found with ease in the Internet. In special on our website it is full of it. But you forget and constantly you ask.

To those that don't know me, this holiday season couldn't have come at a worse time! At the end of October, I broke off my engagement with my fiance.  Since then, it has been pretty hard to get into any sort of "holiday spirit." But, since I love celebrating any and all fun occasions: Birthdays, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, New Year's Eve, etc... I just couldn't help but write a bit about it all....

I am taking a different approach this year by doing one big Holiday "Gifting & Wishing" list (just keeping it all together!). I know that there are so many people in our beautiful world celebrating all sorts of holidays and they are busting their arse to make everyone happy! To them, I have but one message:  slow down, relax, take three deep breaths and know that 2012 is almost upon us.  We'll have all of January and dreary February to stop and smell the roses!

So here it is... a ballad of my love, for the next few days, wishing everyone the best "Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza..." and New Year's Eve possible!

Let the celebrating commence!

To all the NEW YORK CITY Mothers....

I don't know how you all do it, and I want you to know that you all work way too hard and, worry way too much. You raised or are raising your children to be NYC children and trust me; based on my once- upon-a-time nanny experience you "parentals" are doing a great job!

So for you, I wish ONE holiday day filled with total relaxation; a day where your children fully serve you for a change! (I know,  I know..."When pigs fly," but maybe one day..)

In the meantime since all NYC Mothers are dedicated "Bag Ladies," might I suggest/recommend the following...

1.  The Feed Tote Bag!

I purchased this tote bag. I bought mine at Whole Foods and quite frankly, it owes me nothing. I have put it through the ringer! It has gone all around Europe and then, it took a second European extravaganza trip.  This summer, it even went to Australia and New Zealand. This bag has lots of pockets, very sturdy stitching and, the more worn in it is, the better it looks!  Also, it folds up to become a compact bag. That means that you can even carry this one in your larger bag as a spare. (I know you women do that! Don't lie!)

Naturally, it gives proceeds to a great cause! United Nations World Food Programme's School Feeding Operations

2. The Shopper

Because every NYC Mother has to be quite the Urban Warrior; "hunter and gatherer style Mama Bear" for her children.
